Tahniah JDT atas Majlis Perasmian Stadium Sultan Ibrahim
Persatuan Bolasepak Malaysia (FAM) mengucapkan tahniah kepada Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) atas perasmian stadium baharu iaitu Stadium Sultan Ibrahim, malam tadi.
Stadium Sultan Ibrahim ini adalah stadium bola sepak (iaitu tanpa trek balapan) kedua dibina di Malaysia selepas adanya Stadium Tun Abdul Razak di Pusat Bandar Jengka, Maran, Pahang pada 2015 buat Felda United.
Kedua-dua stadium ini mampu memartabatkan lagi bola sepak negara.
Majlis perasmian Stadium Sultan Ibrahim disempurnakan oleh DYMM Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar.
Hadir sama Presiden FAM, Datuk Haji Hamidin Haji Mohd Amin dengan diiringi barisan exco FAM.
"Kami di FAM berbesar hati menerima jemputan menyaksikan hari bersejarah JDT dan amat berharap selepas Stadium Sultan Ibrahim dan Stadium Tun Abdul Razak, akan ada lebih banyak stadium bola sepak yang dibina dan dimiliki oleh kelab bola sepak itu sendiri pada masa akan datang.
"Dengan fasilitinya dan kemudahan yang ada, pastinya stadium ini menjadi mercu tanda JDT malah usaha ini mampu melonjakkan pembangunan bola sepak tempatan serta negara.
"FAM mengucapkan ribuan terima kasih di bawah jemputan dan sekalung tahniah kepada JDT dan JOHOR Southern Tigers atas perasmian stadium baharu, Stadium Sultan Ibrahim," kata Datuk Haji Hamidin.
Pasukan skuad Harimau Selatan bakal memulakan aksi pertama di laman sendiri yang baharu menentang Kedah dalam aksi pembuka tirai Liga-M bagi merebut Piala Sumbangsih di Stadium Sultan Ibrahim.
Selain itu, juara enam kali berturut-turut Liga Super itu juga dijadualkan akan memulakan kempen Liga Juara-Juara Asia (ACL) di gelanggang sendiri menentang Suwon Bluewings pada 3 Mac nanti di Stadium Sultan Ibrahim.
Dengan pembukaan rasmi Stadium Sultan Ibrahim yang serba canggih — 'Home of the Southern Tigers' dan ini sekaligus menandakan aset terbaharu JDT, kebanggaan kelab dibawah kepimpinan DYAM Tunku Mahkota Ismail, Pemangku Raja.
Reka bentuk Stadium Sultan Ibrahim yang dibangunkan oleh Forest City itu mampu memuatkan kapasiti maksimum sehingga 40,000 penonton selain memiliki kemudahan padang rumput semula jadi (Zeon Zoysia) yang mencapai standard Persekutuan Bola Sepak Dunia (FIFA), sistem pencahayaan moden, sistem bunyi dan kemudahan penyiaran.
Projek ini bukan hanya melibatkan pembinaan stadium sahaja tetapi juga pelbagai aspek pembangunan yang lain termasuklah Ibu pejabat Johor Darul Ta'zim, Pusat latihan dan kedai cenderamata. Pastinya stadium Baharu ini bakal menjadi satu mercu tanda Johor.

The Opening Ceremony of the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium - Congratulations JDT
Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) congratulated Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) for the opening of their new stadium, Sultan Ibrahim Stadium, today.
The Sultan Ibrahim Stadium is the second football stadium (without a race track) built-in Malaysia after the Tun Abdul Razak Stadium in Bandar Pusat Jengka, Maran, Pahang in 2015 - a home stadium for Felda United.
Both stadiums help in boosting national football development.
The opening ceremony was officiated by the Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar.
Also present was FAM President, Datuk Haji Hamidin Haji Mohd Amin, accompanied by the FAM exco.
"We at FAM are pleased to receive the invitation to be part of JDT's historic day and hope that after the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium and Tun Abdul Razak Stadium, there will be more football stadiums built and owned by the football club itself in the future

The Southern Tigers squad will kick off their first home match against Kedah in the Charity Shield - opening match of the M-League at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium.
In addition, the six-time Super League champions are also expected to start their Asia Champions League (ACL) home campaign against Suwon Bluewings on March 3 at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium.
In line with the opening ceremony of the state-of-the-art Sultan Ibrahim Stadium — Home of the Southern Tigers, this mark JDT's newest asset yet another milestone of the club under the leadership of HRH Tunku Mahkota Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Regent of Johor.
The design of the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium was developed by the Forest City can accommodate a maximum capacity of up to 40,000 spectators while also having a natural grass surface (Zeon Zoysia) that meets the World Football Federation (FIFA) standard, modern lighting system, sound system, and broadcast facilities.
The project involves not only the construction of the stadium but also other aspects of development including the Johor Darul Ta'zim headquarters, training center, and megastore. This new stadium will surely be a landmark of Johor.
