Pentingnya Falsafah dan Prinsip Asas Penubuhan Kelab
Delegasi Persatuan Bolasepak Malaysia (FAM) hari ini didedahkan kepada falsafah, tradisi dan prinsip-prinsip asas kewujudan Tokyo FC, pendahulu Divisyen Satu Liga J, serta kaedah kerjasama dengan komuniti dan sekolah dalam memastikan pembangunan bola sepak kekal mekar di sekitar ibu kota Jepun itu.
Presiden FAM, Dato' Haji Hamidin Haji Mohd Amin turut disambut dan dihadiahkan jersi kelab oleh Presiden Tokyo FC, Naoki Ogane.
“Lawatan ke Tokyo FC ini menunjukkan betapa pentingnya kelab mempunyai falsafah tersendiri yang selari dengan misi dan visi badan induk.
“Tokyo FC mempunyai identiti, tradisi, prinsip asas penubuhan dan falsafah pembangunan pemain serta DNA yang jelas untuk dikongsi bersama semua pemegang taruh. Ini yang harus ada dengan ahli gabungan FAM serta program pembangunan belia seperti NFDP,” kata Dato’ Haji Hamidin.
Selepas taklimat hampir dua jam itu yang diberikan oleh Pengurus Strategi Belia dan Jabatan Pembangunan Tokyo FC, Takashi Okuhara dan Pengurus Jabatan Perakaunan dan Perancangannya, Nobuki Kobayashi, delegasi FAM dibawa melawat Stadium Ajinomoto yang juga menjadi gelanggang Tokyo FC dikongsi bersama Tokyo Verdy, kelab divisyen dua.
Tokyo FC yang ditubuhkan pada 1935 dengan nama Tokyo Gas Soccer Club, kini mendahului divisyen satu Liga J dan dibimbing oleh Kenta Hasegawa. Antara nama besar yang pernah menyarung jersi Tokyo FC ialah Yuto Nagatomo dan Yuichi Doi.
"Falsafah pembangunan pemain kami pula ialah mereka yang mempunyai kelebihan dan skill pelbagai untuk kepentingan ibu negara Tokyo.
"Pembangunan pemain kami pula bermula pada peringkat pertumbuhan iaitu di sekolah, seterusnya ke peringkat pembangunan pada usia Bawah-15 (B-15).
“Pemain B-18 tahun kami pula ada seramai 45 pemain, dibahagikan kepada dua pasukan, satu pasukan bertanding dalam Liga nasional, satu lagi di Liga Tokyo.
"Kami juga mempunyai pusat latihan sendiri yang sedia lengkap dan dengan ini kelab dapat membantu Persatuan Bolasepak Jepun (JFA) dalam membentuk pembangunan pasukan kebangsaan," katanya.

Stadium Ajinomoto yang dibuka secara rasmi pada 10 Mac 2001 dengan kapasiti 49,970 penyokong.

The Importance of the Philosophy and Principles to form a Club
The delegation of the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) today has been told that the philosophy, traditions and principles of the existence of FC Tokyo, the top in J-League Divison One.
Apart of that, the way of working with communities and schools in ensuring that football development are important to thrive the sport in this Japanese capital.
The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) President, Dato’ Haji Hamidin Haji Mohd Amin was given a warm welcomed and given a jersey by FC Tokyo President, Naoki Ogane.
“This visit to FC Tokyo demonstrates the importance of the club having its own philosophy in line with the mission and vision of the parent body.
“FC Tokyo has a identity, tradition, principles and a philosophy of player's development and a DNA to share with all stakeholders. This is a must have for FAM affiliates and youth development programs such as NFDP,” said Dato’ Haji Hamidin.
Following the nearly two-hour briefing given by FC Tokyo's Youth Strategy and Development Manager, Takashi Okuhara and its Accounting and Planning Department manager, Nobuki Kobayashi, the FAM delegation was taken to visit the Ajinomoto Stadium which is also FC Tokyo’ shared venue with Tokyo Verdy, a division two club.
FC Tokyo, founded in 1935 under the name Tokyo Gas Soccer Club, now leads the J-League Division One and is coached by Kenta Hasegawa. Among the big names that have worn the FC Tokyo jersey are Yuto Nagatomo and Yuichi Doi.
“Our players' development philosophy is that they have various strengths and skills for the benefit of the capital Tokyo.
“Our player development begins at the growth stage of schooling, down to the development stage of the Under-15 (U-15) age group.
“Our U-18 squad have 45 players, divided into two teams, one playing in the National League, the other in the Tokyo League.
“We also have our own fully equipped training center and with this the club can assist the Japanese Football Association (JFA) in shaping the development of the national team," he said.
The FAM Delegates later been taken for a visit to Ajinomoto Stadium that officially opened on 10th March 2001 with a capacity of 49,970 fans - the first stadium to use a name right in Japan.
