Sekitar kunjungan hormat ke atas Perdana Menteri, YAB Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad oleh delegasi bola sepak yang diketuai Presiden Persekutuan Bolasepak Antarabangsa (FIFA), Gianni Infantino dan majlis menandatangani perjanjian persefahaman (MoU) antara Persatuan Bolasepak Malaysia (FAM) dan Persatuan Bolasepak Jepun (JFA) yang diwakili oleh Presiden FAM, Dato’ Haji Hamidin Haji Mohd Amin dan Presiden JFA, Kohzo Tashima di Pejabat Perdana Menteri, Putrajaya, hari ini.
Yang turut hadir, Menteri Belia dan Sukan, YB Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman dan Setiausaha Agung Konfederasi Bolasepak Asia (AFC), Datuk Windsor John serta barisan Ahli Jawatankuasa Eksekutif FAM.

Also in attendance were Youth and Sports Minister, YB Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) General Secretary, Datuk Windsor John along with FAM Executive Committee Members.
